DESCRIPTION
- This role requires being in the field and 2 days/week in the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, maintain, upgrade, and repair telephony network which includes all structures such as poles and conduit systems cable copper fiber and associated equipment for aerial underground buried and customer premise equipment for multi-tenant buildings.
- Monitor and analyze residential requirements for multi-tenant building locations within a geographical turf and design solutions to extend FiOS or copper services into residential locations.
- Must be able to price out solutions and select the most effective design.
- You’ll have the authority up to a set dollar limit to choose and implement solutions independently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in telecommunications.
- Engineering Degree or experience with OSP Engineering design work.
- Must know copper and fiber engineering
- Must be capable of engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders both distribution and feeder.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
