Bachelor’s Degree HR training or certification e.g. SHRM
2+ years human resources experience
2+ years Experience in academic environment
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interviewing, problem solving and customer service skills. Knowledge of basic human resources concepts, practices, legislation, and procedures. Excellent organizational, problem solving and computer/technical skills. Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures to a diverse employee population and to supervise work processes and staff . Ability to supervise staff. Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and strong knowledge of data base applications.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with various HRIS systems including Workday
