Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Patchogue / Riverhead, NY

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Clinics from Southampton to NYC. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

In this role, you will:

• Greet and confirm patient information.
• Provide administrative support.
• Conduct data entry and related activities to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain and coordinate calendar of patient’s appointments.
• Create and maintain files, type correspondence reports, and memoranda as needed.
• Collect copays.

We require:

• Must have at least one year of Medical Front Desk experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word. EMR experience helpful.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must be vaccinated for Covid-19.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.

Hours: Monday–Friday

Salary up to $21/hr and comprehensive benefits including Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and more.
