Neighborhood Kids Hiring for Lead Preschool Teacher (2yr.+ Exp.) Full Time

We are searching for friendly, well organized and energetic Lead Pre-K Teacher. A strong christian faith and ability to successfully manage a classroom of 4 year old students is required.

Position Responsibilities include:

*Candidates must possess the ability to be patient, warm supportive and energetic.

* must be able to manage classroom effectively, incorporate curriculum and prayer into daily activities.

* The goal is to develop them socially, academically and spiritually so that they can fulfill their God-given potential

Responsibilities

• Develop a careful and creative program including bible stories, prayer and songs suitable for preschool children
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) using Wee-Learn curriculum.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
• Certification in child CPR

Candidates must posses the following:

*Valid Fla. CDA

*45 hours DCF training/CPR Certified

Ideal candidate may have previously worked as – Preschool Teacher -Toddler Teacher- Infant Teacher daycare teacher – Child care Teacher – Early childhood education teacher – Childcare educator – Toddler Teacher – Infant teacher – Teacher assistant –

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour; annual performance reviews
