We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and versatile Accountant / Office Manager to provide bookkeeping and administrative support for our Family Office. The position is ideal for a person with an accounting or bookkeeping background who is interested in broadening their professional horizon, given the diversity of the family’s portfolio of activities. The position will mostly be remote, but to be considered, the candidate must be located within commuting distance from Mendham, NJ, and/ or Manhattan, NY. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTING : Record financial transactions Reconcile bank accounts Coordinate with our financial advisors Prepare expense s Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable Work with our tax preparer and assist with tax compliance Prepare financial statements OFFICE MANAGER: Administrative support of our businesses and our Foundation Coordinate the maintenance of the family residences Source, schedule and oversee vendors, contractors and service providers Other reasonable, ad hoc, administrative activities as needed SKILLS: Discretion, trustworthiness, confidentiality and reliability Problem-solving and positive can-do attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Hands-on experience with accounting software like Quicken and QuickBooks BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 – 3 years Salary: $40,000 – $80,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
