This position is responsible for scheduling, managing, and supporting all teaching staff with quality practice components of curriculum development, child and classroom environment assessments, teacher training, and professional development.
A preschool assistant director ensures that a school functions appropriately and meets educational goals and standards. In this career, your duties may include working with teachers and other staff on curriculum development. Your responsibilities may also include ensuring that classrooms remain adequately equipped and that the school meets the needs of both parents and students. You may work with a director and other administrative staff to set enrollment goals and school policies. You may also spend time interacting with the children who attend the school to assess their needs and progress.
