This position has the responsibility to comply with safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce safety as a core value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to food safety & quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
Maintain positive and professional staff and vendor relationship; welcome and greet visitors.
Answer phones in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate staff.
Support office staff and management with general operational tasks including translating when needed.
Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies.
Generate memos, emails, and reports when appropriate.
Assist in training staff members and production employees and setting up new hires as needed.
Assist all employees with human resources paperwork and provide translation assistance.
Assist in preparation of presentation materials.
Assist with basic accounting duties.
Track employee attendance and keep the point system for our facility including PTO requests.
Track and update employee uniforms. Be the main point of contact for the vendor and employees in regards to uniforms.
Must be punctual and dependable. Able to work productively with little or no supervision.
Team and detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Assist with tracking employee hours and payroll.
Must be able to follow work instructions and complete all tasks in a safe manner.
Strong organizational skills and dedication to complete projects in a timely manner.
Assumes personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and, incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
Adheres to quality work practices, follows GMP’s, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures that product quality is maintained.
Reports to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
Ensures regulatory compliance at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
