Wells Fargo Merchant Services (WFMS) is a leader in the electronic payment services industry providing a full range of credit and debit card payment acceptance solutions for merchants of all sizes. Wells Fargo is ranked as the 5th largest U.S. Acquirer and processes over $488 billion in payment volume with 7.4 billion transactions. There are 1150 team members in WFMS located across the United States.
This executive will report to the Head of Merchant Services, and lead a team of finance professionals providing financial support to the Merchant Services business.
Outstanding leadership skills and the proven ability to foster a culture of strong consultation, sound controls, and continuous improvement will be determining factors in selection. This executive will be recognized for accomplishments related to hiring, retaining, and developing a diverse, world-class team.

The successful candidate will have success in building high performing teams and have extensive experience in effecting transformational change around customer experience. This leader will be articulate, have demonstrated inspirational leadership capabilities and possess an execution prowess. Further he/she will have strong interpersonal effectiveness and must have a strong understanding of the Merchant business drivers and processes. Finally the right candidate will be someone who can quickly build relationships and credibility in order to influence across organizational boundaries.
