Memorial Products Hiring for Sr. Graphic Designer Full Time

Graphic Designer – Cranston, RI

Memorial Products is a fast growing family owned business located in Cranston, RI providing print and design services for the funeral services industry. The company was built upon delivering high quality products and great customer service to the funeral homes that we serve. We produce a wide variety of printed materials such as high-end prayer cards, thank you cards, register books, and marketing related materials to support our customers and the families they serve.

We are looking to hire a Sr. Graphic Designer to join our team! You will fit in well here if you work well in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail and are able to multitask in an environment with shifting priorities. You work independently to achieve tasks of all complexity but also look to help others your work with to put out the best possible competing priorities. You enjoy working as a team and have strong verbal communication skills.

Design Responsibilities/Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Adobe CS with focus on Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Photo editing/retouching/manipulation skills
• Strong sense of typography and composition
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Strong communication skills regarding design and customer service
• Catalog/Marketing material layout and design (Preferred)

Other Responsibilities/Skills (Preferred but not Required)

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent time management, organization and teamwork
• Various print finishing tasks ie: Laminating, Cutting/Trimming, Shrink Wrapping
• Knowledge of Fiery and command workstation software
• Wide format printing and finishing ie: mounting, laminating, and trimming
• Web design/coding
• Video creation and editing

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Monday- Friday 9:00a – 5:30p, Saturday overtime potentially available

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
