We are seeking an experienced VP of Paid Media to join and lead our fast-growing media buying practice.

In this role, you will lead a team of two to three media buyers and serve as the senior partner for clients as well as internal teams. Strong financial understanding and experience pricing, pitching, and winning business is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with inter-agency teams to develop integrated paid media strategies on behalf of clients
• Identify the media best suited for a specific demographic and/or geographic area to meet campaign goals
• Direct and manage department staff, overseeing execution of all account initiatives from inception through completion
• Develop internal and external processes for streamlined and timely workflow
• Lead/ participate in new business pitches and help prepare written RFI/RFQ responses
• Budget management, including preparing costs for stakeholders and producing spending updates throughout the campaign
• Coordinating with the creative team on all material production deadlines
• Adjusting media schedules in response to changes
• Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance
• Analyzing the effectiveness of the campaign and using this data to plan future programs
• Manage professional team growth by teaching media principles, administering performance reviews, and guiding development of deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field
• 3+ years of agency experience leading an integrated media team
• Experience developing comprehensive media plans (TV/Video, Search, Paid Social, Display, Audio, OOH, Direct Mail, etc.)
• Experience identifying target audiences and developing geo-targeted campaigns
• Analytically minded, specifically comfortable with data, media metrics and trends
• Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have a client service attitude and mindset for work prioritization and issue resolution.
• Self-starter, high-energy, take-charge personality
• Maintain flexibility in the face of dynamic and challenging client environments
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is important. Knowledge or experience in Salesforce, Basecamp and/or other CRM platforms is valuable.
• Proficiency in Strata or other media buying software is valuable.
• Salary based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
