The ideal Home Health Care Coordinator

Your core responsibilities

• Drive volume by establishing and coordinating Home Health appointments for injured workers
• Effectively obtain outside records and properly maintain data across all systems
• Review pre-authorizations and obtain authorization with adjusters and case managers
• Thoroughly review and record physician orders, protocols, and data to verify the correct information while monitoring completion and notifying appropriate personnel
• Utilize negotiation skills to ensure the most cost-effective products and services are rendered
• Create and issue purchase orders for payment tracking and authorization, ensuring to notify the billing office when tests, procedures, and scans are complete

Minimum must-have’s

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• At least one year of home health scheduling experience
