Mauge, Inc Hiring for Digital Graphic Designer Job at Chicago, IL Full Time

Mauge is a fast-paced, brand-oriented creative agency in Chicago’s Wicker Park / Bucktown neighborhood, and we’re looking for an exceptional Digital Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis (12 hours per week completed on a set schedule TBD). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dedicated to detail, and proud of their work.

On any given day, you might:

• Create Site Maps and Wireframes

• Design Web Page Mockups

• Create Web Banners, Social Media Content (Stories, Graphics, etc)

• Design and Edit HTML Email Templates

• Create Digital Ads (Search Engine, Social, etc.)

• Contribute to Mauge’s Client Presentations

• Participate in Strategy Sessions

No matter the project, though, your goal will always be to create on-strategy assets that meet our needs and the needs of our clients, while honing your craft under the supervision of our Creative Director and Principal. You’ll also spend a lot of time in Basecamp, Google Drive, and on our internal server.

Requirements:

The following qualifications are strongly recommended. If you feel, however, that you have the portfolio and skills to join our team despite missing certain items, please apply.

• 2+ years agency, design studio, or in-house experience as a Production Artist and/or Graphic Designer

• BFA or BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related degree

• Strong creative portfolio with appropriate digital bent

• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)

• Experience with Figma, Flowmap, or other web design tools

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, WordPress, along with third-party integrations like MailChimp and Constant Contact

• Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals

• Graphic layout and typographic knowledge

• Experience following established brand standards

• A willingness to develop and grow your skill-set to stay competitive and sharp

• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
