Martin Holland Advertising Hiring for Graphic Designer Job at Anderson, SC Full Time

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in graphic design or graphic communication
• Strong portfolio demonstrating required level of creativity, design and technical proficiency
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – i.e. Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and oversee projects through to completion along with client follow-up
• Able to create quality work while meeting tight deadlines and paying attention to details
• Experience with web design and development (Wordpress)
• Work well in a team environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop creative assets spanning across all marketing tactics – logo development, brand standards/guidelines, digital display ads, billboards, print, collateral, e-marketing, social media, direct mail, website graphics, etc.
• Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size, style and related aesthetics.
• Prepare assets for print production abiding by vendor specifications.
• Research and understand client industry verticals as well as historical creative messaging.
• Maintain open and current communication with all agency staff and with clients. When necessary, complete projects by coordinating and communicating with outside vendors, photographers, freelancers, printers, clients, etc.
• Assist with video production and/or photoshoots as necessary – create shot list, coordinate shoots, give creative direction, cull and edit images, review assets.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, working on several creative campaigns at once often under pressure. Must be able to meet tight deadlines. This may require working late and/or some occasional weekends.
• Possess time management skills to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion, as well as enter time daily in project management software.
• Must be proactive and comfortable taking initiative in terms of brainstorming, strategy, research and creativity.
• Able to tolerate open/honest feedback and constructive criticism.

• Self-proof to ensure accuracy and minimal changes.
• Should keep abreast of current advertising laws and guidelines.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
• Ensure quality by committing to Martin Holland Internal Processes and Standards.

Salary depends on level of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
