About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our Manufacturing and Supply Chain team based onsite in Dallas, TX. In this role you will lead the planning and execution of hardware activities through our manufacturing partners. Your efforts will be crucial to deliver new hardware for business operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for making an impact in a fast paced environment, and the ability to deliver results as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Manufacturing Operations activities with our contract manufacturer through new initiatives within the manufacturing and supply chain organization.
• Coordinate with down stream functions for demand and availability of airplanes.
• Liaison to manufacturing process, quality and test teams along with global logistics teams for issue resolution and driving new initiatives.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills with demonstrated cross functional collaboration.
• Strong leader with demonstrated stakeholder mangement skills and cross regional management.
• This role would require working outside business hours or/and on weekends during escalations for issue resolution.

What You’ll Need:

• 8+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following fields: Product development and or Manufacturing Operations
• Experience working on capability enhancement, capacity management, scaling up or down based on business needs
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Manufacturing Execution System(MES) and traceability requirements for high reliability industries.
• Program Management Experience with a proven track record of successful implementation in a matrix organization working with quality, process and test teams
• Experience with continuous improvement to minimize product costs
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10-15%

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Salary Range: $148,000 USD – $158,000 USD
