Overview
Foodhub is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Managing Director (USA) to lead and scale our operations across the United States.
This is a critical leadership role with full responsibility for market performance, including revenue growth, operational delivery, team leadership, and market expansion. The Managing Director will act as the senior representative of Foodhub in the US, ensuring strong alignment with global strategy while adapting execution to local market dynamics.
The role requires a hands-on, results-driven leader with deep experience in hospitality technology, marketplace platforms, or POS/EPOS environments, and a proven ability to build and scale operations in a competitive market.
This role will involve regular travel across the US and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Market Leadership & Strategy
• Lead Foodhub’s US business, owning strategy, execution, and performance across the market
• Develop and execute a clear growth plan to expand market share and strengthen Foodhub’s position in the US
• Align US operations with global strategy while tailoring execution to local market conditions
• Act as the senior spokesperson and representative for Foodhub in the region
Commercial Growth & Performance
• Own revenue, growth targets, and overall P&L performance for the US business
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion across restaurant and takeaway partners
• Identify and execute opportunities for market expansion, partnerships, and new revenue streams
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy
Operations & Execution
• Oversee all operational aspects of the US business, ensuring high performance and scalability
• Ensure strong delivery of EPOS, onboarding, and client services in line with hospitality operating needs
• Build efficient processes and infrastructure to support growth and operational excellence
• Drive performance through clear KPIs, accountability, and continuous improvement
Leadership & Team Building
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing US leadership team across commercial, operations, and support functions
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance
• Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the US business
• Act as a key link between US teams and global leadership
Client & Partner Engagement
• Build strong relationships with key restaurant groups, partners, and stakeholders
• Ensure Foodhub delivers a high-quality, commercially valuable service to clients
• Act as a senior escalation point for key accounts where required
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with global product, technology, and operations teams to align US market needs with platform development
• Provide market insight and feedback to inform product roadmap and strategic decisions
• Ensure effective collaboration between US and international teams
Governance & Reporting
• Report regularly to the CEO and executive team on US market performance
• Ensure strong financial discipline, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and operational requirements
Experience & Background Required
• Proven experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or senior commercial/operational leader within a relevant industry
• Direct experience within food ordering, hospitality technology, marketplace platforms, or POS/EPOS environments is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling a business or market within the US
• Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership experience
• Experience operating in a high-growth, competitive environment
• Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of US market dynamics, particularly within hospitality or technology sectors
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence at executive level
