The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems organization is seeking an experienced, self-starting Logistics Manager to support multiple program efforts. Functions as Manager for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functions and activities directed by AR700-127. ILS experience taking logistics products through the acquisition lifecycle and the requirements. Provides logistics technical interface with program engineering for design influence. Ensures logistics requirements in support of repair activities, logistics and field maintenance teams are being addressed and accomplished. Functions as a member of the SHORAD Integrated Product Teams. Monitors logistics support activities and readiness trend analysis to identify system performance anomalies and problems for resolution. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and relatedfunctions. Builds relationships with customers through providing technical guidance to ensure efficient logistics initiatives are achieved. Conducts research and develops special reports as required. Basic Qualifications: • Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) concepts and milestones for Army C4I or similar program. • Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support principles and elements. • Knowledge of supportability concepts and doctrine for Army electronic and tactical equipment and systems. • Experience with the planning and execution of Logistics and Maintainability Demonstrations and Technical Manual Verifications requirements. • Ability to review technical information and engineering drawings and provide guidance and/or reports in relation to repair and maintenance activities. • Ability to develop concepts and present those concepts to upper management and government customers. • Ability to draft technical material for internal and external review. • Ability to manage and meet project milestones and required deadlines. • Ability manage and provide ILS planning to Integrated Product and Support teams. • Excellent communications skills. •Self-motivated and ability to develop a strong team concept and approach. • Ability to travel to various CONUS locations if required. • Knowledge of cost account management -Active Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: • Experience managing logistics products through acquisition lifecycle. • Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) processes and procedures in support of shelter programs and ground communication systems. • Experience proposing and estimating ILS activities and services. • Strong background and experience working with the different types of Government funds specific to acquisition program management and operation. • Acquisition experience working with government Program Managers and product acquisition lifecycle development and milestones in coordination with supporting government customers. • Experience managing the development of ILS analyses and technical logistics products: MTA, MAC, LORA, Technical Manuals, LMI databa
