TITLE: Human Resources Manager

POSITION TYPE: FULL TIME – Director level

COMPENSATION: Salary plus FT Benefits

REPORTS TO: Director of Finance

The Information Technology Manager plays a vital role in conveying and facilitating this vision and mission through leadership, management and oversight of all IT Systems, including network, database, security and communication systems.

Primary Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

• Oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding of LifeFamily personnel
• Develop and implement the human resource policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all personnel, including hiring, performance evaluation, employee actions and termination. Maintain a documented system of human resource policies and procedures
• Creation and management of job descriptions, salary ranges, and performance reviews and plans
• Oversee the new hire orientation process to ensure new hires are properly prepared to work in our culture, with our people and systems, and that new hires are equipped to perform their duties.
• Develop and maintain employee salary ranges for all positions, including periodic adjustments and managing special situations
• Process payroll via a third party platform
• Complete and submit paperwork to external agencies including worker’s compensation, unemployment claims and verification of employment
• Oversee and manage LifeFamily benefits, including benefit renewal and employee enrollment
• Assist campus pastors in personnel management, including performance reviews, merit increase recommendations, promotions, and disciplinary actions
• Ensure management actions comply with church policy and labor laws
• Address personnel issues and participate in disciplinary and termination actions

Reporting, Audit and Control

• Manage the annual process of benefits renewal including vendor relationships and employee communication
• Perform and reconcile all payroll and benefit expenses
• Coordinate the preparation for and the completion of the annual review/audit
• Participate in the annual budget process working with the Finance Director and staff, assisting as needed at various stages of the process
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
• Oversee tax payments and compliance with all state and federal law
• Provide internal auditing services as required

Essential Skills

• Work productively, independently and collaboratively with others

• Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality as appropriate

• Working knowledge of Human Resources, Audit Accounting, Benefits Management and Payroll

• Experienced with accounting systems including payroll, accounting, benefit management, membership databases and credit card reporting systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
