Lawelawe Management Group Hiring for Audio and Visual Technician Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with audio, video, and presentation equipment and how to install, set-up, and operate such devices. The Audio Visual Technician will also be responsible for following safety protocol when moving or installing equipment and for labelling, tagging and returning all AV equipment to its proper location.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the status of AV equipment and troubleshoot problems to restore operation.
• Set up audio visual equipment and ensure that it is functioning properly at the time of events.
• Coordinate the audio visual needs of an event, working with the client to determine what they require and with other staff to ensure that their requirements are met.
• Provide technical support for events.
• Know how to operate a variety of audio visual equipment, including but not limited to projectors, monitors, microphones, speakers, and lighting devices.
• Know how to use communications equipment, including but not limited to telephone, cellular phone, and pager.
• Have knowledge of digital recording techniques and audio synchronization techniques.
