We are now hiring a CAD Drafter/Office Assistant. The CAD Drafter/Office Assistant is responsible for providing CAD drafting support and assist in administrative and design tasks for KSI as assigned. This is a small office-based position that involves the drafting of product submittal packages and other ancillary office tasks.

Responsibilities for CAD Drafter/Office Assistant

• Provides drafting services for Engineering Team
• Assists with coordinating plan layout and drawings with Engineering Team
• Assist with preparation of submittal packages
• Maintains Engineering Team library, standard detail manager and filing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist with document creation/formatting and file management

Qualifications for CAD Technician and Office Assistant

• Associates degree and or 2 years of related work experience.
• Prior experience related to civil (earthwork and plumbing) construction preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 and AutoCAD 2020 (2D) is a must.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Must be resourceful and have problem-solving skills
• Be self-motivated, organized, and able to work with limited supervision
• Use problem-solving skills, especially related to technical issues with software, internet connections, etc.
• Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Drafters: 1 year (Preferred)
