Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Junk Removal team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the removal of unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Duties
- Safely operate vehicles such as box trucks or vans to transport junk from various locations.
- Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
- Perform heavy lifting of various items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Assist in sorting and categorizing items for recycling or disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job requirements and progress.
- Follow all safety protocols while on the job site to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience in warehouse operations or moving services is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Reliable transportation to report to job sites as scheduled.
- Flexibility in working hours, including potential weekends or holidays as needed.
