Overview

Brycer is recruiting a Junior Software Developer to work with a passionate team responsible for maintaining, enhancing and supporting Brycer’s The Compliance Engine (TCE) platform. TCE is a SaaS platform hosted in the cloud consisting of a web browser interface, a mobile app interface and an API for integration with client and 3rd party platforms. TCE platform is the leader in code compliance for authorities having jurisdiction (e.g., fire departments) across the country.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a junior level developer working with a team to develop new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication skills.

Our current technology stack:

TCE web app: Grails, Groovy, Java, GraphQL API, RestFul API

TCE mobile app: Flutter, GraphQL API, RestFul API

AWS Lambda: Python, Java, C#

Future stack:

TCE web app: MS Blazor Web Assembly in C#

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, modular, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support new and existing software including front-end applications, back-end applications, database SQL queries, and API interfaces
• Participate in code reviews
• Participate is daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Estimating stories

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 0+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, XML, JSON
• Experience with C#, Blazor WebAssembly, Java, Grails, Groovy, Javascript, CSS, HTML, SQL
• Experience with multi-threaded programming
• Experience with Restful API and/or GraphQL API’s
• Experience with Flutter, Dart, AWS, and No SQL, is a plus
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
