About us:

We are Ivor Andrew, a marketing and creative agency in Wheaton, Illinois. We specialize in B2B manufacturing and industrial work, which we know sounds boring at first glance. But here’s the wrinkle—we make sure to have fun and do something different while creating, and it results in campaigns that actually work. Thanks to this approach, our tiny but mighty team of 16+ currently works with global brands in America, Japan, South Korea and Germany.

We need a talented and wildly creative Senior Graphic Designer or Art Director for a full-time, in-house position. That’s where you come in.

About you:

For starters, you should be within driving distance of Wheaton (or willing to relocate). If that’s taken care of, be sure to show us your killer portfolio that you’ve developed over your 5+ years of experience at an agency, in-house or freelance.

Once hired, you’ll be expected to work on a lot of different types of design work—print, web, branding, trade shows, digital, social and be able to do it with the hands of an artist and craftsman.

Do you like to tell stories to communicate ideas? So do we, so it’s important that your skills bring more than just pretty artwork—you need to be able to create, problem solve and think on your feet.

Bottom line:

We’re looking for an experienced designer that can handle multiple clients and projects in a given day, has an acute attention to detail, loves branding, print design, good creative communication and is comfortable with all of the necessary design tools on a Mac.

Salary to match your experience and talent. To reiterate, this is an in-house position that reports to our Creative Director. We believe creative growth and success happens in an environment with other creative talent to surround you. An industrial or manufacturing background is a bonus, but not necessary. A good resume will get you seen, a solid online portfolio will get you contacted, and great personality will get you hired.
