IT Application Support II/III Job location: Sandy Run, South Carolina Direct Hire $50-60K Primary responsibilities: Processing level 1 and level 2 tickets received directly into the service desk via telephone, email or other lines of communication. Escalate complex level 3 and regionally-appropriate tickets to the applicable colleagues based on standard processes. Experience working with the following technologies would be advantageous: JDE World with a 9.2 or 9.4 preference iSeries RPGLE, CLP, MS SQL version 2012, 2016, 2016 Cognos Analytics Control SharePoint Online or Sharepoint 2010 .Net C preferred Other Responsibilities: Perform detailed, non-scripted, and troubleshoot processes to determine root cause of an incident and remediation. Produce and amend reports and scripts in line with agreed global business processes and make minor changes to forms/templates/labels/barcode configurations on behalf of the shared service centre business applications team. Create and maintain knowledge base documents relating to incidents processed by the service desk, and deploy and update common applications and tools via standard systems. Provide basic business analyst services on behalf of the shared service centre business applications team. As this will be an operational role where you will be required to maintain uptime and business capability. To be successful in this position you must have exceptional customer service skills and experience working within a fast paced environment, work within a team effectively, and excellent communication skills within this position are key. The ability to manage your own workload effectively and think methodically is essential within this role. At least 4 years experience within a similar role is required and participating in an out of hours on call rota for emergency incident support will be necessary as well as travel from time to time.
