Call Center Rep/Appointment Scheduler needed for our Team

Responsible for scheduling ESP non-surgical patients for all facilities.
Collects and documents all demographic referral prior authorization and insurance related information at the time of scheduling.
Responsible for following up on appointment reminders.
Cancels patient appointments as necessary, ensures patients are notified of cancellations and rescheduled in a timely manner.
Answering the telephone regarding inquiries about the practice and scheduling appointments.
Provide thorough and efficient care to meet caller/patient needs via telephone, fax and email.
Document all communication via electronic medical records (NextGen).
Minimum of a HS diploma with some college preferred.
Must have one or more years experience working in a medical environment.
Must have excellent keyboarding/data entry skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate superior computer skills.
Experience with EMR/EHR and EPM, NextGen is strongly preferred but not required.
Knowledge of insurances and/or healthcare experience is a plus.
