Information Unlimited Inc Hiring for Reports Developer – PowerBI, SSRS Report Builder, Python Job at Washington, DC Full Time

We are looking for a couple of report developers with deep understanding of the Microsoft stack and exposure to SAS and Python. Healthcare experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creating reports, data extracts, dashboards, and ad hoc reports, primarily using Power BI, SAS and SSRS with understanding of healthcare data and data sources.
• Gathers and translates reporting business requirements to technical requirements, providing contextual analysis and suggestions to the user community during the requirement gathering process.
• Ensures that all delivered solutions meet the highest quality standards and satisfy all specified business requirements through rigorous validation and testing
• Reviews reporting processes and reports with a goal of improving performance, reliability, accuracy, and scalability.

• Assists business partners with basic reporting questions and understanding of the Data Warehouse.
• Triages and resolving production issues with reports, extracts, and dashboards – working with the business partners to understand the issue and determine the root cause to resolve issues.
• Participates in the QA process of reports, extracts and dashboards.
• Assists in migration of on-premise based reports to Azure cloud.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in developing reports using Power BI, Python, SSRS, SAS (reports and applications)
• 6 years of developing reports in the health care industry
• 5 years experience of processing large data files
• 10 years of experience with phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 6-8 years experience developing stored procedures, stored processes and macros
• 5 years of experience with relational databases
• Solid T-SQL knowledge SQL query development, performance tuning and automation

This position is ONSITE only with the potential future option of 1-2 days telework. This is not Remote – Only.

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
