The University of Virginia’s Department of Human Resources seeks an HR Assistant for the Medical Center Recruitment Team. The Assistant directly supports the team and customers in a variety of ways. The Associate must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced and complex environment
The Assistant will provide clerical support to a team of HR professionals and assist with a variety of HR activities and support special projects and events related to these functions. Work is assigned at the task level and performed under immediate supervision.
The Assistant is responsible for:
An Associate’s Degree and at least one year of administrative experience is required.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
