Houseables Hiring for Amazon Product Manager at Remote Full Time
Houseables, Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity for an Amazon Product Manager! Due to our organization’s continued success and growth, our procurement team is expanding, and that is exactly where you come in.
Amazon Product Manager Duties:
- Source and launch 7-10 new products per month as a department.
- Calculate profit and return estimates by comparing unit cost, shipping costs, fees, and selling price.
- Meet profit margin minimums.
- Align department goals with the growth strategy of the company.
- Ensure the success of new products ordered.
- Communicate with suppliers to follow up with emails, product quotes, and samples.
- Prepare reports, charts, and graphs based on research analysis. Meet with management and team to present research analysis.
- Manage an internal team of sourcing assistants.
- Manage an external team in China that assist our sourcing and logistics needs.
- Manage sourcing agents.
- Review past research and compare it against current sales performance
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Has a consistent and natural positive attitude.
- Takes ownership of professional outcomes.
- Is Fluent in English.
- Is Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Is Available to work full time, five (5) days a week for eight (8) hours per day.
- Provides references upon request.
- Passes a background check.
- Is able to sit at a desk for at least eight (8 hours per day.
- Has good problem-solving abilities.
- Is able to troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of a plan’s success or failure.
- Possesses strong marketing skills.
- Has excellent leadership abilities.
- Keeps up to date with changes in the market and technology that would affect new product development.
- Is able to meet and surpass deadlines.
- Has a strong initiative and ability to self-manage.
- Is adept at organizing information.
- Communicates effectively.
- Is always looking to learn.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of product management, product development, and analytical experience.
