HH Health System-Lincoln Hiring for Staff Accountant Full Time

HH Lincoln Health is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Accounting department in a full-time position.

The basic purpose of this position is to be primarily concerned with the accounting functions for the Health System.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare journal entries to be posted to general ledger.
• Prepare reconciliation of assigned trial balance accounts.
• Analyze financial statements and detailed expense s, explain variances to trend, and prepare month-end narrative.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and other financial statements and other financial s.
• Prepare daily or weekly cash management .
• Prepare and maintain insurance files.
• Perform data entry function to the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation of annual year-end audit.
• Assist in compiling, formulating and reviewing fiscal budgets.
• Maintain record retention and filing system.

Accountant Position Details:

• Full-time (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
• Monday – Friday

Accountant Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1 – 3 years of general ledger experience in an automated environment preferred.
• Must have strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
