The Multimedia Specialist blends photography, imagery, infographics, text and multimedia elements to create high-impact promotional content, including print materials and electronic content for a wide array of platforms.

The Multimedia Specialist works closely with the marketing team to provide a customer-focused approach to every department within the organization.

This person will be knowledgeable in current marketing and communication trends, not-for-profit governance, and the specific business of the organization to use this information to help the organization operate with initiative and innovation.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Graphic Design and or 2-3 years of relevant job experience and portfolio examples

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Multi Media

• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Highly proficient in all design aspects
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Being able to adapt to change
• Have a collaborative mindset

Desirable traits and skillsets

• Have a general understanding of photography and video production (lighting, sound and filming)
• Possesses marketing experience in health care
• Team player and holds a customer service philosophy for internal stakeholders
• Experience with managing content for clinic lobby screens
• Can manage internal and external web platforms

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design

a. Create materials (print and digital)

• Rack Cards, postcards, appointment cards and business cards
• Posters and flyers
• Print Ads (magazines, newsprint, billboards, etc.)
• Brochures (trifold/bifold/booklets, etc.)
• Letterhead
• Invitations
• Clinic Signage (interior/exterior)
• Forms (formatting to match company standards)
• Floor plans, emergency evac forms, etc.
• Website and Social Media Graphics
• Logos/Branding

b. Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software

c. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts

2. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

3. Participate in internal and external events supported by the marketing department

4. Flexible to handle other duties as assigned.
