Sign Designer — Immediate Need

A Medium Size Custom Full Service Sign Company located in the Greater Hartford Area.

We’re one of the region’s Top producers of Custom Fabricated Signs, Awnings & Environmental Graphics. We Design, Fabricate and Install especially for Restaurants, Retail, colleges/school campuses, parks, and office buildings. We are seeking a Creative minded, organized, project-oriented Designer. Experience is mandatory. Your main role will be to Design and with support handle some project management. You will see your designs fabricated and installed all over New England and throughout the states. Day to Day

• Manage a constant workflow of Sign Designs, complete storefronts and Graphic concepts
• Create proofs for Customers viewing and for the Towns permit process and approvals.
• Redesigning and making corrections in order to produce production files for each assignment.
• Review and improve all files to confirm the jobs are held up to our Quality of standards.
• Designers carry individual workloads, but work as a team to see projects through.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of Sign Designing experience while working at a Sign Company.
• Must be completely Proficient working in Adobe Illustrator or like software.

A candidate who loves to design, but also enjoys managing the creative process.

• Must be self-motivated, organized, Creative and have a great work Ethic.
• Excitement to Create and Complete Commercial Storefront Signage including All Custom Signs, Awnings, graphics, and Vehicle wraps.
• The ability to carry designs from Concept to Completion.
• The ability to troubleshoot and communicate well with Our Staff, Customers and Vendors.

Nice to Haves:

• Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
• The desire to maintain Technical knowledge
• Construction background is helpful
• A Good Sense of Humor
