Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hardscape Foreman to lead our outdoor construction projects, specializing in the installation and management of durable, aesthetically pleasing hardscape features. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee skilled crews, coordinate complex projects, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship from start to finish. As a Hardscape Foreman, you will be instrumental in transforming outdoor spaces with expert knowledge of masonry, concrete, and landscape elements while maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of hardscape construction projects, including stonework, paver installation, retaining walls, and decorative concrete finishes.
• Lead and motivate a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications.
• Manage on-site operations using construction management software and Bluebeam for document review, markups, and project tracking.
• Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication equipment to ensure precise execution of tasks such as masonry, concrete forming, plastering, caulking, and tile laying.
• Conduct regular construction inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and progress; address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to coordinate schedules, materials procurement (including estimating), and project timelines.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards for masonry, restoration, roofing (if applicable), glass installation, cabinet installation, framing carpentry, door hanging, painting, flooring installation, welding, and other related trades involved in comprehensive outdoor renovations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, blueprint reading, masonry techniques (including concrete finishing), carpentry (including trim carpentry), stucco application, roofing basics (if applicable), glass installation, cabinet installation or related construction fields.
• Strong knowledge of construction management practices with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assist in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Experience conducting construction inspections ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Skilled in using schematics and technical drawings for precise execution of hardscape designs.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam software for document review; basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship; experience with restoration work is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments; strong communication skills are essential.
