Full Job Description
Local boutique sand-cast foundry seeks a experienced hands on general manager.
Our greensand non ferrous foundry builds a low volume proprietary line of products. We are well established and have consistent year around work. We are strictly a non ferrous facility, casting primarily aluminums and various bronze castings.
We are pretty much self contained, facility, making our own patterns, cores, castings and in house machine shop.
The ideal candidate would have experience in managing 10-15 coworkers, a general understanding of repair and maintenance of all foundry equipment and be comfortable laying out work schedules for all staff and coaching workers at every department.
A minimum 10 years required in overseeing foundry production and a passion for manufacturing. The ability to oversee a machine shop would be a great asset to the overall operation.
