About Our Client

Our client is a leading American Skincare and Beauty brand with a strong global presence. With the goal of becoming a socially and digitally native brand, they now partner with us in search of a Global Social Media Manager for their team based in NYC.

Job Description

• You will be responsible for promoting the brand and products via social media networks such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit
• Tracking and monitoring company’s social media presence, and ensuring consumer engagement through social media platforms.
• Conducting research on current benchmark trends and audience engagement and needs.
• Creating strategy and executing social media campaigns to align with business goals
• Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI
• Creating, publishing and sharing engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics
• Communicating with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring customer reviews.

The Successful Applicant

• 2-4 years experience in social media marketing
• Experience of developing strategies across social media and digital marketing areas
• Experience in outreach, sales, grassroots, social media, digital PR, buzz building and building sustainable communities
• Experience in building and growing quality online following for a beauty and skincare business
• Experience in using social media analytics tools to track KPIs, ROI and then advise the content and creative team on marketing strategies based on numbers driven results.
• Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
• Ability to create cutting-edge social media and digital marketing content
• Experience with social advertising platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills
