* This position will be based in Nashville, TN. The position will be a Hybrid/Remote role with onsite responsibilities in our Nashville office 2-3 days per week*

Primary Purpose and Function

The Information Technology Specialist s to the Director of IT and deploys, maintains, and provides technical assistance for the company’s IT systems. The Information Technology Specialist is directly responsible for IT support at the facility/facilities where they are based but is also responsible for offering support to all facilities within the organization to ensure coverage across the organization’s national network of mental health treatment centers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and configure user workstations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
• Escalate issues that are identified within IT, particularly those related to potential data breaches and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule violations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printers.
• Identify technology needs and escalate in appropriate forums.
• Participate in IT meetings.
• Respond to internal customer requests in a timely manner.
• Identify computer and network equipment shortages and place orders. Develop and train users in IT, EMR, and other organizational systems.
• Travel to facilities on regular basis to ensure IT systems are operating as expected and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, or Healthcare Administration or Management preferred
• Strong strategic and technical skills
• Experience in IT purchasing and deployment
• Experience with asset and network management
• Able to identify needs and evaluate cost-effective alternatives to address the need
• Experience with networking, databases, EHRs, and APIs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation skills
• Ability to work on multiple and complex projects
• Have a valid driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance
• Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed. Flexibility and adaptability in schedule are essential
• Some travel required

Pay: $57,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
