Master Bookkeeper Job Description:

Business Owner Financial Reconciliation. All Areas. Full Charge Bookkeeping Responsibilities. This Remote Bookkeeper position is: 100% Remote, 40-Hours/week @ $22/hour ($45,000/ year PLUS, QUARTERLY BONUSES eligible at 1 Year Anniversary. 1099 Contractor status. Full Time. Bookkeeper Responsibilities and Duties

• Reconcile Business Owners’ Financials
• Invoicing
• Payroll
• Quarterly taxes
• Review P&L and Balance Sheets with Business Owners: weekly/monthly
• Communicate via email and phone effectively

Bookkeeper Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ Years experience with Quickbooks (the ONLINE version) REQUIRED and must pass a test for Quickbooks online proficiency. There are no exceptions.
• 5+ Years Bookkeeping Experience
• Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Accounting
• The Bookkeeper should be attentive-to-detail and able to meet hard deadlines without exception.
• Handle multiple clients at one time–all in different areas of reconciliation.
• The Bookkeeper must be tactful in handling clients expectations and compose grammatically correct/ well-written emails.
• The Bookkeeper Must have worked remotely-successfully in the past.
• Since we are Contractors with the federal and state government for Bookkeeping, candidates for Bookkeeper must pass a background and credit check.
• Please list how many years of experience you have with Quickbooks (the Online version) in your Cover Letter.
