Duties

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements, including planning services, transportation, and documentation.
• Provide bereavement support to families, offering comfort and guidance throughout the entire process.
• Prepare and dress deceased individuals with attention to hygiene, cosmetology standards, and respectful presentation.
• Manage dissection and anatomy-related procedures when required for autopsies or medical examinations.
• Ensure sanitation standards are maintained across all facilities and equipment to uphold health regulations.
• Assist families with selecting caskets, urns, and memorial products while providing sales support with sensitivity.
• Organize and execute funeral services and memorial events, including logistics, scheduling, and coordination with vendors.
• Handle heavy lifting of caskets or equipment safely during transportation and service setup.
• Maintain detailed records of all arrangements, legal documentation, and compliance requirements.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately handle autopsies or medical examinations.
• Excellent customer service skills to support grieving families with compassion and professionalism.
• Proficiency in funeral directing procedures, including embalming, dressing, and casketing.
• Experience in event planning to coordinate memorial services seamlessly.
• Ability to perform dissection tasks with precision when necessary for medical or legal purposes.
