Full Stack Engineer Full Time

This position is for a Full Stack Engineer 3 month contract opportunity in Burbank, CA . Duties:

• Help create and enhance software services and components driving Interactive content management, publishing, syndication businesses, and consumer sites
• Customize and configure content management system and support content creation/editorial publishing workflows
• Collaborate with product teams to implement new features and functionality for existing and emerging products
• Actively participate in daily stand ups with the development team
• Contribute to application roadmap item and participate in regular code reviews
• Maintain application quality and work to ensure responsiveness and scalability from all applications and services
• Contribute to continuous integration, code testing, and engineering best practices across all development projects
• Assist with e-commerce thru affiliate links

• Must commit code frequently (and ideally during working hours, time zone irrelevant)

Qualifications:

• Solid mid-level PHP w/ Drupal experience
• Most of the current stack is Drupal 8, some ReactJS
• Recent working knowledge with both GIT and Composer
• Recent experience in a shared coding environment with reusable modules in Drupal 8
• Experience with Jenkins and a continuous integration environment would be ideal
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience spanning all phases of the software development life cycle
• Thorough knowledge of the Open Source content management platforms and deep familiarity with Drupal, Symfony, and OOP
• Expert in PHP, MySQL, UI Frameworks and development tools
• 1-4 years developing APIs and Microservice architectures in production, both for new products and as interfaces to legacy systems
• Proven technical acumen and experience across related technologies for high traffic web sites, mobile applications, and video (JavaScript/Node.js, PHP, MySQL, NoSQL/Hadoop/Mongo, Unix/Linux)

Preferred:

• Experience integrating ad serving products and analytics/reporting tools into desktop and mobile experiences
• Working knowledge of advertising concepts (traditional and/or online) and SEO
• Deep experience with online video management and delivery
• Knowledge of multiple online publishing environments
• Front end development experience using Angular2 and/or React
