JOB DUTIES:

• Manage/supervise human resources functions including recruiting, benefits administration, payroll processing, training/development, etc., ensuring compliance with all State/Federal employment laws.
• Direct plant activities in maintaining positive employee relations and promoting good team member morale.
• Conduct investigations on all employee complaints in accordance with company policies and bring to resolution in line with company policies and or prevailing laws while maintaining proper documentation. Assist managers/supervisors in resolving employee issues including disciplinary actions.
• Develop and maintain onboarding program for new members to ensure proper introduction into workforce and thorough understanding of policies, procedures, processes, and safety. Also ensure proper documentation and retention of all training.
• Develop and maintain all human resources/safety policies, company handbook, and procedures ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and that each member has been trained to each.
• Develop and maintain a current wage survey for all positions within the company.
• Manage/supervise plant safety efforts ensuring compliance with both Federal and State OSHA requirements and that all training has been completed, documented and retained. Oversee and/or conduct all investigations of safety issues.
• Act as the management representative and coordinate administration of ISO 14001 environmental program.
• Support company in QCD efforts to achieve our company goals.
• Support operations in providing a safe work environment ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements and proper 5S are met and followed in pursuit of company goal of 0 accidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years in human resources management experience. 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum two (2) years safety management experience required.
• HRIS experience required, preferably Paycom.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
