Role Description This is a part-time, remote Fresher Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role at El Faro de los libros. The Data Analyst will support day-to-day data tasks, including collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple internal sources related to books, readers, and sales. The role involves preparing basic reports and dashboards, identifying simple trends and patterns, and helping the team make data-informed decisions. The Data Analyst will document data processes, maintain spreadsheets or databases, and collaborate with colleagues to clarify requirements and present clear summaries of findings. Guidance and training will be provided, with opportunities to grow skills in data analytics and support ongoing projects in a flexible, learning-focused environment.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and an interest in solving problems using data.
• Foundational knowledge of data analytics and data modeling concepts.
• Basic understanding of statistics and comfort working with numerical information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets); exposure to data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or BI tools) is a plus.
• Curiosity about books, publishing, or cultural content is an advantage.
• Relevant coursework or a degree in a quantitative, business, or information-related field is preferred but not required.
