Foreman — Insulation and Air Sealing Full Time

Insulate 2 Save is a growing home weatherization company working within the Mass Save Program to deliver expert insulation and air sealing upgrades to Massachusetts homeowners. We’re expanding and looking for an experienced Foreman to lead our installation crews — someone who knows the trade inside and out, takes ownership of quality, and can bring out the best in a team.

AT A GLANCE

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (top dollar for certified, experienced candidates)

Location: In person | Massachusetts job sites

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Occasional weekends as needed

WHAT YOU’LL DO

› Lead daily field operations — supervise and direct crew members across residential job sites

› Oversee the installation of insulation (blown-in, batt, spray foam) and air sealing in attics, walls, crawl spaces, basements, and rim joists

› Review Mass Save work scopes, plan daily workflow, and ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to spec

› Conduct quality control checks throughout each job to meet Mass Save Program standards and inspection requirements

› Act as the primary point of contact on-site for homeowners, program inspectors, and utility representatives

› Train, mentor, and develop crew members — fostering a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism

› Troubleshoot field challenges and make sound decisions independently when needed

› Maintain accurate job records, material usage, and site documentation

› Enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times

› Coordinate with management on scheduling, materials, and crew needs

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

› 3+ years of hands-on experience in insulation, air sealing, or weatherization — you know this trade deeply

› Prior experience working within the Mass Save Program is highly valued

› BPI Crew Leader certification or DOE Weatherization Crew Chief certification is strongly preferred— we pay top dollar for this

› BPI Retrofit Installer Technician or Air Leakage Control Installer (ALCI) certification is a plus

› Proven ability to lead a crew: organized, reliable, and cool under pressure

› Strong communication skills — you can represent us well with homeowners, inspectors, and your team

› Experience reading and executing work scopes from home energy assessments

› Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites throughout Massachusetts

› Background in residential construction, building science, or energy efficiency is a bonus
