Florida Event Décor is looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and communication-minded individual to provide direct support to the event and sales team. A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will enjoy seeing their work directly impact the overall sales and marketing of the company. This is an entry level role that will play a dual role in expanding our social media presence and supporting the team on all design and production needs, ranging from proposal creation to vendor management, as well as administrative needs. Our ideal candidate must be a team player, well organized, creative, and highly motivated.

Key Areas of Responsibility – Social Media Coordinator

• Develop and implement social media strategy
• Day-to-day management of all social media channels – Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok
• Develop and maintain social analytics dashboard to evaluate and shape the social media strategy against objectives.
• Plan and execute social media calendar to ensure consistent, compelling messaging and programming.
• Manage the budget for all paid social media content produced and placed
• Create and implement highly targeted paid social media campaigns to drive results among desired audiences.
• Track, analyze and optimize posts based on target audience behaviors.

Key Areas of Responsibility – Assistant Event Coordinator

• Provide daily production support for the design and implementation of all assigned events
• Dedicated support to event team in the creation of new events and client projects
• Creation of Sales Proposals and assistance in the sales proposal process
• Coordinate with outside vendors for assigned events
• Build and develop Client and Vendor Relationships
• Share knowledge and creative ideas to grow the business and meet the vision of the client
• On-site day of event management to ensure plans are carried out smoothly

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, or similar field
• A minimum of 1-2 years directly related experience
• Experience using social media management and monitoring tools, such as Sprout, Facebook Ads Manager, or other similar tools
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Strong Customer service-related skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical eye for detail and aesthetics
• Leadership skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
• Moderate travel, evenings and weekends are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 – $38,000.00 per year
