Margate Health & Rehabilitation located in beautiful Jefferson North Carolina is currently seeking a full time Floor Technician (Floor Tech) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

The Floor Tech works with the Housekeeping and Laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Taking out the trash
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
- Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces
- Cross-training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise
- Assist with room moves of residents
- Assist with discharge cleaning of residents’ rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture
- Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
- Minimal maintenance responsibilities in case of an emergency or need arises
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience (preferred)
- Customer service oriented, ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, flexible and dependable
