Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a 26 foot box trucks with liftgate, with a focus on delivering goods to customers in a timely manner OVERNIGHT. Monday through Friday.
-Audit, scan, load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transport
– Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
– Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during deliveries
– Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate channels and maintenace a clean truck.
– Adhere to all laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
-Under GPS, driving tracking devices such as Geo and Lytex
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Clean driving history.
– 3 to 5 years Experience driving 26 Foot box truck vehicles and/or vehicles with manual transmissions
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo
– Familiarity with operating manual pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment is a plus
– Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
– Ability to follow directions, work independently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
