ENVY Wigs Hiring for Graphic Designer Job at Indianapolis, IN Full Time

A leader in alternative hair, ENVY Wigs is looking for an inspired creative to take the design lead in its ongoing rebranding efforts.

Our Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation and production of compelling brand-right design solutions for Product Launches, Wholesaler Promotions, Catalogs & Brochures, Retailer Training Materials, POS, Digital Banners, Email Blasts, Direct Mail Campaigns, Packaging & Labeling, Logos, and more.

You’ll be joining an in-house team that includes a Creative Services Director, Education & Training Coordinator, Editor/Videographer, and Marketing Manager—and will collaborate on materials that visually inspire, drive engagement, and keep the brand modern and relevant.

You’re a conceptual, innovative problem-solver who has your finger on the pulse of pop culture. A proactive, entrepreneurial thinker who regularly assesses the competitive set for best practices and opportunities. And a Brand Watchdog who embraces and defines ENVY’S visual vocabulary to ensure a consistent, best-in-class design aesthetic. Position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Crafting innovative and inspiring solutions that meet brand’s strategic needs while taking responsibility for planning and executing projects.

• Producing all digital/print elements for monthly wholesaler promotions

• Creating/uploading all visual assets for ENVY’s new website/wholesaler e-commerce site.

• Collaborating with in-house team on materials that support ENVY’s retail partners

• Cataloguing and archiving all creative projects/assets

• Working with Social Marketing Consultant to deliver necessary digital assets

• Partnering with Marketing Manager to create materials that convey Brand Guidelines (and promote compliance) among internal team and external partners.

• Regularly assessing competitive set

A can-do team player, you must be passionate about your work and thrive on owning multiple projects simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or another related field is required.

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in an agency, design firm, or in-house creative team required

• Experience in advertising, marketing, corporate identity, brand management, and digital/new media communication.

• Solid experience developing creative solutions for a broad range of problems and media, including in-store, print, video, web/ecommerce, social and retail communications.

• Great taste in design and typography

• A keen understanding of messaging hierarchy (as it relates to design)

• Proficiency in design software, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• A strong grasp of the creative development process and the proven ability to produce all work efficiently and on schedule.

• Pre-press and on-press knowledge, including securing print estimates, preparing print-ready files, assessing press proofs, and more.

• Ability to source creative talent—from freelance designers to illustrators.

• Having BOTH Business-to-Business and Direct-to-Consumer experience preferred.

• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision

• Effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
