Based in our Racine, WI location, you will execute material control processes and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and streamline processes that impact material control and reduce errors, and review and manage material control forms used to correct inventory and ensure material is accurately tracked for projects.

AS AN ENTRY LEVEL – MATERIAL CONTROL ANALYST, YOU WILL:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize inventory variances and implement improved processes to increase overall inventory accuracy.
• Manage material control forms (adjustment, part submission, product/part request), review accuracy, and take action to adjust inventory into and out of ERP.
• Work closely with the Receiving, Warehouse, and Operations to resolve problematic inventory transactions, such as, but not limited to, material transfers (including outside processing), production reporting, inventory receipts, and scrap reporting.
• Engage and participate in the planning, execution, and reconciliation of the annual physical inventory.
• Assist in managing inventory during phase-in/phase-out transitions to ensure inventory transaction accuracy.
• Identify root cause in material workflows, and develop and implement root cause countermeasures.
• Develop a systematic approach to review excess, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory quarterly.
• Collaborate with the Perfect Execution team in developing a Kaizen roadmap for inventory accuracy improvements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Mgt., Supply Chain, or related field; Or minimum two(2) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment with a concentration on material flow, production assembly, and/or raw material warehousing and deployment
• Basic knowledge and understanding of BOM structure
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Planning concepts and applications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel and Outlook)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Five(5) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment with a concentration on material flow, production assembly, and/or raw material warehousing and deployment
• Familiarity with Lean concepts, such as Pull Planning, Kanban, and Heijunka
