Role Overview
Vêtir is seeking a highly organized, visually driven, and digitally fluent Editorial & Social Media Assistant to support our Fashion Director across content, editorial, and social initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong fashion point of view, a deep understanding of social media, and hands-on experience in editorial or styling environments.
You will play a key role in shaping Vêtir’s visual and editorial voice across platforms, assisting in cross-platform content production, and ensuring seamless execution of daily social and editorial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial & Content Support
- Assist the Fashion Director in developing and executing editorial content across Vêtir’s digital platforms
- Support with editorial calendar planning, content ideation, and trend research
- Write and edit short-form copy for social, email, and in-app content
- Optimize for SEO & AEO
- Assist in organizing and maintaining content libraries, team scheduling, brand contacts and visual assets
Social Media & Content Production
- Support daily management of Vêtir’s social channels (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Assist in planning, shooting, and producing social-first content (photo and video)
- Edit short-form video content optimized for platform performance
- Monitor social trends, emerging creators, and platform updates to inform content strategy
- Track performance metrics and assist with reporting and optimization
Styling & Editorial Assistance
- Assist on any location activations, fittings, and content capture days
- Liaise with Operations team to support sample trafficking, returns, and showroom coordination
- Help prepare styling pulls, look boards, and shoot prep materials
- Maintain organization of styling kits, credits, and shoot documentation
General Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the team
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, partnerships) on content needs
- Ensure all content aligns with Vêtir’s brand aesthetic and standards
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in fashion editorial, social media, styling, or a related field
- Strong understanding of luxury fashion and current industry landscape
- Highly proficient across social platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar editing apps)
- Strong, elevated visual sensibility and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable on set and in production environments
- Positive, proactive, and highly collaborative attitude
Preferred
- Prior experience assisting a Stylist or social media content creator
- On-set or styling experience
- Familiarity with luxury brand standards and visual storytelling
