Disney General Entertainment Content Hiring for Producer, Affiliate Promotion – ABC News Full Time

The Producer, Affiliate Promotion for ABC News is a critical lead liaison with the 250+ ABC Stations – and vital to our group reaching our ambitious goals. This role s directly to the head of marketing for ABC News. This person delivers key Good Morning America marketing assets to all the stations daily. This person also drives the daily production of anchor-driven marketing and promotion for World News Tonight and Nightline to the ABC affiliates who run theses spots every day – as well as managing the assets for ABC News primetime events and priorities. This person works closely and directly with the ABC affiliates, ABC News program teams, as well as with the ABC Affiliate Marketing team, to produce on-camera anchor reads and custom spots that benefit the stations and ABC News enormously. As we march forward strategically toward reaching our goals, this person will innovate and help manage and lead our critical close relationships with all the stations. This is an essential role in our group and for ABC News.

Responsibilities:

• Drives the daily production of anchor-driven marketing and promotion for World News Tonight and Nightline to the ABC affiliates
• Delivers key Good Morning America marketing assets to all the stations daily
• Manage the assets for ABC News primetime events and priorities
• Partner closely and directly with the ABC affiliates, ABC News program teams, and the ABC Affiliate Marketing team to produce on-camera anchor reads and custom spots that benefit the stations and ABC News
• Work with anchors and Executive Producers to accommodate requests from affiliates for custom anchor lines & reads
• Work with Legal team, show teams, and Rights & Clearances teams, to ensure assets are cleared for use, and legally approved

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of professional experience in marketing, promotions, agency, or a production environment

• Energetic, ambitious, detail-driven, manager/producer who can hit the ground running
• Must be professional, and able to work a flexible, ever-changing schedule – including late nights
• Must be able to perform detail-oriented work under very rigid deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays when necessary
• Working knowledge of Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere

The hiring range for this position in New York is $84,600 – $103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
