As a Dispatcher – National Internet Services, you’ll be responsible for receiving, screening, dispatching and updating installation and repair work orders for U-verse products. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll interact with supervisors, field technicians and customers to resolve installation and repair work order problems. You’ll also operate a computer terminal and use various systems to contact Premises Technicians and Field Supervisors as well as prepare Premises Technician daily logs to schedule next-day commitments.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Maintain extensive customer contact by telephone to confirm due dates and access, negotiate and re-negotiate commitment time
• Verify Premises Technician logs with Field Supervisor and accept and/or rearrange changes
• Route repair tickets to appropriate Premises Technicians
• Receive information from employees and perform required work order status transactions
• Initiate customer contact to obtain access information and provide customer with their workorder status
• Interact and coordinate with other departments to verify customer work order information
• Use information from mechanized systems to determine further work order actions
• Build manual tickets when mechanized systems are not functioning properly or per management request
• Update/close tickets for Premise Technicians when mechanized systems are not functioning properly or per management request
• Use desktop computer to enter data and/or obtain information
• Process work to meet commitments with specific deadlines
• Follow established office, safety practices and procedures and complete training, as required
