A fast-growing organization is seeking a highly experienced Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy, execution, and optimization across multiple business functions. This role is fully remote within the United States and is designed for a leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and is committed to operational excellence.

Position Overview

The Director of Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, and inventory management functions. This role ensures seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners while driving efficiency, cost optimization, and service quality.

The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution capabilities, with a proven ability to scale supply chain systems in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, demand planning, logistics, and distribution
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives
• Optimize inventory levels to balance cost efficiency and service reliability
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment
• Leverage data analytics and forecasting tools to improve decision-making and planning accuracy
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and operational resilience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency with supply chain systems and ERP platforms
• Ability to operate effectively in a remote, distributed work environment
