Director Information Technology Full Time

This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the overall IT strategy across key business units within a manufacturing and industrial environment.

You will lead large-scale technology transformation initiatives, including a major SAP S/4 implementation, with enterprise-wide impact.

The role ensures the stability, scalability, and security of IT systems supporting critical business operations.

You will oversee cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and disaster recovery frameworks.

This position also plays a key role in driving innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and aligning them with business goals.

Operating in a fast-paced, global context, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable business value through technology.

Accountabilities

You will define, lead, and execute the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term organizational priorities.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of a major SAP S/4 implementation across the organization
• Oversee IT infrastructure reliability, scalability, and continuous optimization of systems and applications
• Drive cybersecurity strategy, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning
• Manage IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure cost efficiency and value delivery
• Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies to improve operational performance and innovation
• Oversee vendor relationships, negotiations, and service provider performance management
• Establish IT governance, policies, standards, KPIs, and performance reporting frameworks
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity readiness across all systems

Requirements

This role requires extensive IT leadership experience within complex, industrial, or manufacturing environments, with a strong background in enterprise systems transformation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementations in large-scale environments
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to align technology with business goals
• Solid expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing IT budgets and investments
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Occasional travel required (up to 30%)
